The COVID-19 pandemic has led to an increase in the number of bankruptcies worldwide. Russia is no exception: one of the government's anti-crisis measures was a moratorium on bankruptcy at the request of lenders until January 7, 2021. According to experts, the delayed effect of this measure will manifest itself by the end of the year, leading to a sharp increase in the number of insolvency proceedings. In the meantime, the State Duma will consider the bill "On Amendments to the Federal Law "On Bankruptcy" in the fall.
